On C. cicero, the VHW cell-end bar is separated from the post-discal band; on female C. centoripa the cell-end bar is connected to the post-discal band, or even contained within it. Male C. centoripa is very different.
C. cicero is an uncommon montane species in the Andes; C. centoripa is a widespread and common lowland species.
