Males of these subspecies are apparently indistinguishable. Female purda has unmarked central white area DHW; female junta has black veining in this area.

Male: black border on FW dorsum extends to vein 2 in the nominate ssp, but is narrower in junta.
Female: black veins DHW are wider than intervening white spaces in the nominate; black veins are narrower in junta.
